Comprehensive medical care and psychosocial support provided to over 44,000 survivors of sexual and physical violence at its centers since inception in 2001 (men and women, boys and girls).

Emergency Response Programs: GVRC offered medical support to 3,684 survivors and psychosocial support to over 180,000 from the Post Election Violence in 2007/08. The Mt Elgon interventions brought meaning to the lives of 240 women and girls and psychosocial support to 100 survivors during the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission’s hearings. The recent Tana Delta Response Program and the Drought Emergency Response Program supported 7196 number of clients with medical support, psychosocial support and capacity enhancement for the Health Care providers.
